W1 Black

Private Client Performance Programme, London

The most complete way to work with W1 Performance, offered by conversation only: full specialist coordination, clinical diagnostics, and oversight of your health and performance as one picture.

Leigh Clayton, founder of W1 Performance, on a Marylebone street in London W1

The short answer

What W1 Black involves

W1 Black is for the client who wants one person accountable for the whole picture. Coaching, diagnostics, specialist care and the coordination between them, held by Leigh rather than assembled by you. It is offered by conversation only and to a small number of clients.

Most people at this level are not short of practitioners. They have a physiotherapist, a GP, possibly a nutritionist, and a trainer, and none of them talk to each other. What is missing is not another specialist: it is a single point of ownership, so the advice is coordinated and the client is not left to be their own project manager.

That is the whole proposition. Leigh coordinates the specialists, sits across the diagnostics, holds the long-term plan, and is accountable for the outcomes. The clinical work stays with the clinicians. The coordination and the coaching are his.

What you get

What the programme covers

  • One person accountable for the whole picture, rather than four practitioners who never speak
  • Full specialist coordination: the referrals are made, the notes are joined up, and the plan reflects all of it
  • Cedars-Sinai Clinic London for the diagnostics and the physician review, ten minutes from the training venue
  • Clinical diagnostics built in: advanced blood work, DEXA, biomarker analysis and a private physician review
  • Complete oversight of training, nutrition, recovery, sleep and stress as one coordinated system
  • The highest level of access to Leigh of any programme, in person and between sessions
  • A long-term plan measured against repeated diagnostics rather than against how a given month felt
  • Discretion as a default: a small client list, and nothing published about who is on it

How it works

How the relationship works

Getting started

Before the first conversation, it helps to know who currently looks after your health, what recent testing or screening you have had, and what you are trying to protect or change over the next ten years rather than the next three months. Bring existing blood work and scan results if you have them.

During your sessions

After your sessions

The plan is held and adjusted continuously rather than at fixed review points, and diagnostics are repeated at agreed intervals so the long-term picture is judged against the same measures. Any medical advice remains with the physician and your GP.

Pricing

W1 Black Leigh's own framing, kept as he wrote it. The programme is scoped to the individual, so it is priced in conversation rather than published. Third-party clinical testing is provided and billed by the clinical provider.

W1 Black
questions

What makes W1 Black different from the top coaching tier?

Coordination. Diamond gives you twelve sessions a month and the highest level of access within the coaching relationship. W1 Black extends that to your wider health picture: specialists are coordinated, diagnostics are built in, and Leigh holds one plan across all of it rather than only the training half.

Why is there no published price?

Because the scope genuinely differs by client. What is coordinated, which specialists are involved and how much diagnostics is appropriate change from one person to the next, so a published figure would either be wrong or would describe something other than what you would receive. It is agreed in conversation.

Does Leigh provide the medical care?

No. Leigh is a performance coach, not a clinician. Blood work, scanning and physician review are delivered by Cedars-Sinai Clinic London, and any medical advice or onward referral sits with their physician and with your GP. What Leigh owns is the coordination and every coaching decision that follows from it.

Can I keep my existing GP, physio or specialists?

Yes, and that is usually the sensible route. The point of the programme is not to replace the people who already look after you: it is to join them up, so the training reflects what your physiotherapist is working on and your nutrition reflects what your blood work shows.

How many W1 Black clients does Leigh take?

A small number, deliberately. The programme depends on genuine availability and genuine attention, and both stop being real above a certain client count, so the list is kept short rather than grown. Ask Leigh directly and he will tell you what capacity looks like at the time you are asking, rather than quoting a number.

How private is it?

Entirely. Nothing is published about who is on the programme, no client is named without explicit written consent, and the coordination happens directly rather than through an office. Discretion is a working assumption at this level, not a feature to be requested.
