Nutrition Coaching in Marylebone, London
A nutrition strategy built around the way you actually eat: enough structure to change body composition, enough flexibility to survive a client dinner and a 6am flight.
The short answer
What the nutrition strategy covers
Nutrition is part of every W1 Performance programme rather than an upsell, because training without it changes very little about how you look or how you feel. The work is strategic: what needs to be true across a week, not a prescription for every meal.
Most clients here already know the basics. What they do not have is a way of eating that holds through a fortnight of travel, late finishes and dinners they did not choose. So the strategy is built around the real constraints first, and only then optimised. No extreme restriction, and nothing that quietly requires you to cook every meal at home.
Where clinical diagnostics are part of your programme, the blood work informs the strategy: metabolic markers give the nutrition work a target rather than a guess. This is nutrition coaching for training and body composition. It is not dietetics, and anything clinical goes to your GP, a registered dietitian, or the physician.
What you get
How the work is built
- A strategy set at the level of the week, so a single difficult meal never derails it
- Protein and total intake set against your training and your body composition target
- Built around travel, client dinners and late finishes from the outset rather than as exceptions
- Informed by your blood work where clinical diagnostics are part of the programme
- Meal prep partnerships available where cooking is genuinely not going to happen
- Reviewed monthly against measured change, not against how strictly you followed it
- No extreme restriction: the test is whether you could still be doing it in two years
How it works
What the first month looks like
Getting started
Before the first conversation, note what a genuinely typical week of eating looks like, including the parts you would rather not report. Travel pattern, how often you eat out, whether you cook, what you actually enjoy, and any foods you avoid or react to.
During your sessions
After your sessions
The strategy is set in writing, adjusted between sessions as your weeks change, and reviewed each month against measured change in body composition, strength, energy and where relevant your blood markers.

questions
Will I be given a meal plan?
Not in the usual sense. You get a strategy: what has to be true across a week for your body composition and training to move, plus practical rules for the situations that normally break a plan. It leaves you able to make good decisions in a restaurant rather than dependent on a printed menu.
Do I have to weigh and track everything?
For a short period it can be genuinely useful, because most people misjudge intake in one direction or the other. It is a diagnostic tool rather than a permanent condition, and for many clients the strategy runs on structure and protein targets without daily logging.
What about alcohol and client dinners?
They are planned for, because they are not going away. A strategy that only works in weeks with no dinners out is not a strategy for the life you actually have. We set what a normal week absorbs and how to handle a heavy one, and the plan is built to hold either way.
Is this dietetics or clinical nutrition?
No. This is nutrition coaching for training and body composition. Leigh is not a registered dietitian. Anything clinical, including managing a diagnosed condition or a restrictive medical diet, goes to your GP, a registered dietitian, or the physician on the diagnostics side of the programme.
How does my blood work feed into this?
Where clinical diagnostics are part of your programme, the panel gives the nutrition work measurable targets rather than assumptions, and a retest later shows whether the strategy moved them. The medical interpretation stays with the physician; the coaching response is Leigh’s.
